The nursery
Our hothouse takes around 3500 m², used
for the larger part for our huge collection of fuchsias and
pelargoniums. In
spring, we can also suggest a large choice of cuttings for
flower-beds
as e.g. hanging begonias, surfinia, million bells, double
Impatiens, bacopa, Trailing Lobelia etc…
We also have a splendid collection
streptocarpus.
As of January 1 2008, Katrien Michiels took over management of
the company which had been founded by her father more than
20 years ago. Marcel Michiels still is very active. His
greatest passion remains the creation and improvement of new
Fuchsia varieties.

We regularly welcome Belgian and foreign associations. Only
thing we ask is to make a reservation well in advance. Just
to avoid 3 coaches arriving at the same moment ...
Please remember that we can also suggest you professional
pot soils,
pesticides, pots, fertilizers, literature, and
everything else to make your hobby a success!
You can always contact us to fill up your flower boxes or hanging baskets.
Please bring
us your recipients well in advance.
We respect the environment and invite you to bring your
wrapping material
with you. If needed, you can buy small boxes at the nursery.

In the summer of 2001, we
had the pleasure of welcoming a film crew of HGTV from
Canada. They were preparing the gardening programme
"Flower Power" with Stephen Westcott-Gratton. He
is the creative mind behind as well as the on screen presentator
of the series. He also publishes gardening books, is a
professional environmental architect, consultant and
gardening specialist.
March 26, 2006, we welcomed the television crew of Jardins &
Loisirs, headed by Luc Noël.
And April 28, 2007, the crew of Groene Vingers (headed by
Jean Van Hoof) came by to prepare an item on scented pelargoniums.
